Reflex Project

The Reflex Project aims to teach children about the knee-jerk reaction through an Arduino-powered mechanism in the shape of a leg.

The contraption has a button that represents the patellar tendon - the spot a doctor would hit with a mallet - and an LED strip that represents neurons firing to the spinal cord.

The Fall 2020 team will be assembling 4 duplicates of this model that will be delivered to the Children's Museum to be used for demonstrations.
